March 29.2016 Avia-Mechanic Plant, a branch of the key and strategically important enterprise in the region – Kizlyar Electo-Mechanic Plant (KEMZ), was launched in Kaspiysk.
The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus, Lev Kuznetsov, Head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdullatipov, head of the “Agency for Strategic Initiatives” representative in the North Caucasus Federal District, Chairman Minkavkaza Public Council of Russia Anvar Hajiyev, as well as representatives of regional ministries and agencies.
Lev Kuznetsov said that the opening of the plant is important for the development of not only the company and the country, but the entire industrial complex of Russia. “The Republic of Dagestan is historically famous for its industrial potential. Despite the hard times, the main pillars of the economy have been preserved. It is gratifying that today there was one company that will solve important problems of military-industrial complex. Importantly, it is also an incentive for the development of engineering specialties and thus clear the professional benchmark for our young people, “- said Minister of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus.
Head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdullatipov also noted that for the country it is very important the creation of such plants and jobs. “Once there was an abandoned building that is partially wanted to demolish and build a multi-storey building, but we decided that this place should be a branch KEMZ. Dagestan, like the rest of our country has always been famous for its craftsmen and production; These traditions need to save, “- he stressed.
As the director of JSC “Concern KEMZ” Ibrahim Ahmatov, Aviamehanichesky plant is a technological platform, equipped with advanced equipment and processing centers. Today it is 1,700 square meters, which is installed 48 machines. These capacities are aimed at both the implementation of the state defense order, and on the output as part of import substitution. In particular, the plant will produce parts for unmanned tank “Uran-14” engine helicopters and other body parts for aircraft. Now the plant has 141 people, each of whom received special training. Within the next 1.5-2 years the number of specialists will grow by more than 5 times.
The project to build the plant Aviamehanicheskogo involves 3 steps. The first phase has been completed: the main shop machining established and put into operation. Now there is a second phase. By its completion in the factory should be available welding and thermal management as well as the shop of consumer goods. At the third stage it is planned commissioning of additional capacities. It should be completed in 2018.
